The GCF is overseen by an international committee that reflects the breadth and diversity of the global church (See Committee members.)

A full-time Secretary, Revd Dr Casely Essamuah, serves as the executive officer of the Forum.

The Committee, the Facilitation Group, and the Secretary are assisted by part-time staff including: an events coordinator, an administrative assistant and a communications associate.
